Greetings to the AMAZING KCF church family!

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."  Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,  "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."  Luke 2:11-14 (NIV)

With Jesus’ birth, the world witnessed one of the greatest mysteries of all history - the Incarnation.  Jesus, God the Son, who was before all things, left His position in Heaven and became man through the virgin birth.  Jesus, 100% man and 100% God came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10) and to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).  Because Jesus came, the peace of God can reign in our hearts, and we can be a conduit for bringing that peace to the world!  My prayer is that each of us would have peace and share that peace this Christmas season!

As we finish up the year, I wanted to share a brief update on the three “avenues of advance” that we embarked on in the beginning of the year.

1. Leadership Development:  This year we conducted a series of leadership development seminars this year with the overall goal of preparing ourselves to be the church family the Lord designed us to be as we move deeper into the harvest and connect more people to Jesus.  Your participation in these seminars was nothing less than spectacular.  We had the following attendance at the seminars - L101 - 61, L201 - 48, L301 - 29, and 22 completed all three seminars!

2. Going Deeper into the Harvest:  Many of you took on the challenge to go deeper into the harvest this year at work, in your families, and in the community.  As a church family we also tried several new ways to go deeper into the harvest - small groups reaching out, Neighborhood Bible Clubs, candy outreach, and the upcoming Parent’s night out.  Also, we began a major outreach to Mentor High and beyond with the calling of Skip Toops as Pastor of High School Outreach!  Great job everybody, and in 2008 we go even deeper!

3. Strengthen & Multiply Small Groups:  We end 2007 with over 75% of members and many regular attenders in our twelve thriving small groups.  We also had one group go through the intentional process of multiplying into two groups!

We thank the Lord for 2007, and I look forward to seeing us continue to advance toward becoming the church family that the Lord desires us to be!

                                       With the Love of Jesus,

KIRTLAND CHRISTIAN  FELLOWSHIP

We are a caring, Christ-centered church family where no one stands alone as we take risks together to connect people with Jesus!

Our goal is to become a family of committed  believers who are growing in love, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service in order to reach the world for Jesus Christ!
