GOD'S WAY
Dear Friends,
God has done many miracles in our lives and has blessed us many different ways, but the one that stands out in my mind the most involves my mother, Betty May.
In 1987 she had a severe heart attack with 90% to 100% blockage in various arteries. The doctor concluded in saying that 70% of patients in her condition lived approximately one year.
After some time and care the doctor wanted to do another catherization in preparation for bypass surgery to hopefully prolong her life. My mother was very much opposed to the idea of going through another catherization the first one had been so painful.
Through much conversation and prayer we had decided to go ahead with it. The procedure went well and afterwards the doctor had come in to give us the results. He had said that he would never do another catherization on her again and she would not be needing bypass surgery. Evidently there had been a huge, huge, huge (in his words) artery that had formed around and created its own bypass! My mother immediately said "Praise The Lord". The doctor proceeded to say this was natures way, but I had to stop and correct him in saying this was God's way!
My mother had lived another five years despite previous diagnosis but is now with the Lord. I must say I can't wait to see her again and what a miracle and blessing that will be. God does love us so!
